About A Place at the Table
Table. Gathering. Food. Faith. Family. Community. Conversation.
This is a place for conversation about things that matter. To gather reflections, questions, and insights. To be nourished, challenged and guided by the earth, the wisdom of the Christian tradition, the arts, and the reality of the world we live in.
There is a place for you at this table.

About Mary da Silva Abinante
I have worked in parish, retreat, and high school ministries in California and the Northwest for over 30 years, focusing on spirituality, liturgy, and ministry formation. My passion is bringing people together, discerning gifts, and celebrating – in worship, in reflection, in gathering for a meal. I never tire of exploring the wisdom of those who think, pray, and act from our spiritual tradition.
I am rooted in my home and family; I’m blessed to have my 4 siblings close and close by. My late husband Phil and I raised 3 children who are now adults who bring us joy by carrying on customs of creativity, service, and hospitality. I recently retired from the Adult Spirituality Team at St. Ignatius College Prep. in San Francisco. I have an M.A. in Religious Education from the University of San Francisco and have done additional graduate work in adult formation. |
